I started getting back into Warhammer recently as a friend of mine is a massive wargamer, but his regular Warhammer group has gone more towards Mallifauex at the moment, so we decided to start up our own one.
I've decided to go Ogres for this - was trying to convince my Son to go Fantasy as well, but he prefers the 40k side of things, which means I'll have another 2 armies to paint in the new year...
I scoured the internet for ideas of how to do the Ogres - I don't like the pink fleshy version for some reason, and ended up falling onto some of the Frost Ogres on here, and decided that I quite liked that, so started building them up and painting.
Initially, I got an old Battalion (one reason for going Ogres, I has some laying about...) a box of Mournefang, a Firebelly, and an Ironblaster - I've got a Stonehorn on the way for Christmas, and maybe a few other bits...
I didn't get many pictures of the ogres as I painted them, but here are a few of the finished article - my painting skills can be described as "base coat - slap a bit of heavy dry brush, and then wash" so nowhere near as good as most of you guys, but hey - it keeps me quite for a few hours...

Mournefangs
These were the first thing I painted,
Body - Ogres & Mounefang
Primed
Base of Regal Blue
dry brush Teclis Blue + highlight on exposed flesh
Dry brush Celestra Grey
Wash in Drakenhoe Nightshade
Horns are Baneblade Brown + Devlan Mud
Saddles are Mournefang Brown, with the metal in Warplock Bronze & Boltgun highlights - all washed in glorious Devlan Mud

Leadbelchers
These guys are now a team of 4 - I put the wrong gutplate on one of the bodies I had painted up for the 4th one, and his gun wouldn't fit..
Same process as all my ogres - I do different coloured trousers for the different types usually, but I'm not that imaginative when it comes to keeping them different...

Ironguts
Same process again, but I did their Armour in Hasnut copper and Nuln to set it apart from base Ogres

Ogres

Firebelly
Had fun doing this guy - haven't done fire in a long time, and I quite like how its come out.
Started with Black base, then heavy drybrush Yriel Yellow, and then light drybrush in Mechrite Red. Picked out the detail on some of the armour in Moot Green, as its my sons favourite colour, and he decided that I didn't have enough green in my army...

BSB Bruiser
Started doing a bit of Kitbashing to make a BSB Bruiser as everyone said that I needed one. basically glued a couple of the remaining standards from the Battalion box together, then added some bits from the Mournfang kit - like the two handed weapon - carved the hand off it, and smoothed it round a little

Bits in progress
my Ironblaster is primed and ready to be painted, and I've started pulling a few bits together for my kitbash of a 441Slaughtermaster / Butcher
Created an offhand "Great Wok" for his weapon, and have got a load of knives and cleavers to adorn him with - got some Green Stuff on the way to make an attempt at an apron as well

Current List
Happy for pointers on this, its my first list in a long time...

Bruiser, BSB - Rune Maw, Tormentor Sword, HA, GW
Firebelly, Lvl 2, Ruby Ring, Tricksters Shard, GW
Ironguts x 5, Full Command, Standard of Discipline
Ogres x 6, Full Command, Lookout Gnoblar, Ironfists
Leadbelchers x 4, Bellower
