Hello

original thread ↗

Hi guys-
I've begun to collect Ogre Kingdoms units because i'm tired of the rats.  Too many models in Skaven and, not a great army for a noob.  I've been playing occasionally for 2 years, and love the ogre models and fluff, hoping it will ignite my interest to play more often and put together some really good models.  What i've read so far in here looks really supportive, glad I found it.

Thanks,
bk
Welcome to the Stronghold!

Certainly less models in an OK force but plenty to learn in way of how they play - what works and what doesn't. Poke around in the forums and you will likely find some information you need. And of course feel free to post any questions you have and you will likely get some responses from fellow gut lovers.

May the maw be with you...

Welcome to the Stronghold. Ogres are a great choice especially after a horde of Skaven!

The models have huge potential for stamping your own theme on them and have good "convertability". As Randroid has said; take a look around the forums there is a wealth of information hear for any aspiring Tyrant. Don't be afraid to ask as many questions as you like, someone will be happy to help you. Do take a look at some of the existing army lists here and posts on the subject as that should point you in the right direction when starting your army.

Lastly, I would always advise that you start your own "Gnoblog"; it's a great way to log your progress with your army, both playing and painting your fatties!

Once again welcome
