50% Lords and Heroes combined.

Hey guys.

Not sure if this is the right place for this but as it was rule based I just put it here.  I have been reading my local gaming forums here:-

As it appears for this book you can combine Lords and heroes allowance together.  So hypothetically if we could do this for Ogres in normal games (Should the next addition go this way perhaps) what would you do????

I think this would be good for ogres.  It would make Hunter on Stonehorn more available, lords more viable at lower points. And also allow for double Bruisers (1 BSB and 1 as army general) while still having a few level 2 casters for that channel spam allowing you to still get a nice 9 leadership (with STD of disc) but not needing Slaughter master to do it.

Just a few things very much of the top of my head.  So what does everyone think? Discuss please.

Well, for Ogres it's not quite as exciting... Bruiser-spam?

But, for my Empire, it'd be easier to run my Karl Franz with Deathclaw and Volkmar the Grim and his Popemobile

That would be a very interesting change! My group ran a fun campaign where we got a "free" 300pt lord of our choice, going from 500-2000pt games over a month. Having a SM at 500-1000 was amazing so that was really cool. I would imagine, or rather hope, that it would stimulate the Midwest tournament meta to ban all special characters. I'd rather not like to face three Undead Legion armies run by Nagash, and two HE's lead by Teclis, the queen lady, etc.
