hey hey everybody-
I've been skulking around this site for a while, admiring all the kick ass paint jobs and what not.  I'm in the midst of getting ready for my first ever tournament in October (Redstone Rumble -Huntsville, AL) and I'll be able to pin up my army here for C+C over the next month or so.  I'm still green when it comes to fantasy, but who doesn't like fat guys whose motivation is to eat more stuff?

From the subject line- I've gone and went crazy with the pants they wear.  I'll get some WIP shots soon enough, but I wanted to get myself out there and introduce myself to the stronghold!

group shot- they're still a wip- still need to rust the weapons and possible tattoos (time permitting), but here are all of the bulls so far.

They are hilarious  that's great work! Can't wait to see more of these!

I am loving these guys; the stand-outs for me are the Obolix trousers guy and cupcakes....gotta love a savage killer with cupcakes on his britches!

Also; can we see a close-up of the two tone green/ pink irongut guy? What is that all over him? He looks like he is covered with pus filled buboes!

Great looking army, some fantastic freehand work there on the trousers. I can't wait to see what you do with some of the other characters if that slaughtermaster in the MC hammer trousers is anything to go by!

I love that most people when showing off their models take photos from the front...but the fancy pant units look just as good if not better from the back

I love this Ogre Sleepover Party theme, brilliant Pants all around!

per request - here's the crusher/irongut.  I replaced his traditional gut plate with a lizardman shield- so to keep with the theme, I GS'd stictched together lizardmen pelts that he wears as his trophy. 

LOL @ 'Juicy"  I have thought about that, or a variation on it.. like "Meaty"  but man, doing old English lettering is a regular PITA.  but hey, once I get better, I'll probably go for it.  I mean, hey, what's the worse that can happen- I soak them in simple green and get a do over!   

the next guy was just more experimentation with GS- the hair, furry boots, and big ol' steak that he has on his belt are all GS.
