I stole this post from the underempire.
Darnok on Warseer recently posted from his little "birdy" that a serious change to Warhamer Fantasy is on the horizon coming late August/early September (see here). While I don't really care for the guy, his attitude towards rumours or the like, he does have a reasonable track record.
What makes this more interesting is another poster by the name of Arthurius11 came out of the woodwork with the following nuggets...

So went back to my source today after reading darnok's posts to see if I could find out anything else he might know.
So I told him there is talk of something big coming at the end of August and asked him if he could shed any light on this for me, his reply was simply " the end times are coming!"
I hope he is correct, time will tell.

Maybe at the end of August / start if September the end times begin with Nagash and his lieutenants come and war ensues, changes the face of the warhammer world, this leads into 9th edition and the new rules and new warhammer world as we know it and steps the timeline forward in the process as previous rumours have suggested.
So many possibilities.

Have some more "rumours" in regard to the end times campaign coming, as usual take them as you will.
Along with Nagash and the vampire releases I mentioned earlier there will also be new release models for tomb kings, skaven, chaos and dark elves.
Thanquol and bone ripper will be getting there own new models along with a new plastic vermin lord. There will also be new fantasy terrain.
That is all I know atm.
Normally I wouldn't think much of this but looking at Arthurius11's posting history on the site he correctly predicted a large quantity of specific releases for Dark Elves, Dwarfs and Wood Elves: all three recent releases for Warhammer Fantasy. And I mean specifics.
I will be very, very happy to see a new Thanquol model, he has been long overdue for a remake. I would wager that the suggestion of any "apocalypse" storyline is something a character like he will play heavily in.
