3000pts vs. BITS Winner!

Hey lads,

I have a game tomorrow morning against Sean Troy, who came out first at Blood in the Sun! I've played him before with my Daemons of Khorne, he's a great guy and really fun to play against. I thought I'd share what I'm bringing, and make a summary of the game afterwards. I'm assuming he's bringing his 1+ armour wall of Empire but he could be bringing Skaven instead. This is my first list at 3k, I thought about bringing my triple Stonehorn list to jazz it up, but decided to stay with something more what I'm used to playing instead. Don't worry Jimmy, one day this will happen!
Anyway, here's the list:

Tyrnat, SM, and BSB go in the guts, while the Butcher fills in with the bulls. FB is the wildcard that will go with either unit depending on where his characters are.

Here's the beginning of our match! I didn't take any other photos since I'm not much of a batrepper yet, but it was a very fun loss for the ogres, haha. My opponent is preparing for a tournament in October so we played it as a friendly practice for him. A couple of key fun moments:

• ALL of his cannons misfired turn one (he went first), but unfortunately nothing blew up
• MY cannon misfired on turn 1 too! But the second one blew up his Hurricanum like a boss
• The FB, like a fool, six-diced the giant flame storm right over the block of 55 halbrediers, but it drifted 6" away and didn't hurt anything. He promptly stopped being a wizard for his trouble
• His two lvl 1 wizards both miscast and also didn't want to be wizards anymore
• Munchy ogre charges into the halbredier horde, then promptly gets surrounded by his entire army and dies horribly
• Mournfang hold against a unit of Lightspeeded chickens, stopping the guts from cleaning up his entire army
• Turns 5 and 6 are basically me killing a steamtank and a unit of demis, for an empire win

That's basically all the exciting stuff that happened. I should have really brought 3 stonehorns to punish him, he was really impressed by how much damage they can do on the charge. Great guy, great opponent, even though he's a modest donkey-lover that can't accept he won BITS

I truly hope so mate, I personally don't like to test lists without the models (hence the reason I have 6 Sphinxes for the Tomb Kings) but I can see myself having a crack at this one before too long.

Stonehorn - did it die via combat res?  was broken or actually killed?

Munchy died to two units of demis (one in the flank), a clipping horde of halberds, and a frost phoenix in the flank. Total overkill, and if my mournfang hadn't done so well (got charged by four speed of lighted demis who flubbed lol), my irongut brick would have smashed apart most of his army in two turns. Except for the frosty, probably.

Like I said this was my first 3k game and was pretty entertaining. Next time I'll probably ditch the tyrant for more bodies on the table.
