2000 Ogres

Hello all, I was thinking of the following list and was curious what everyone else thought. My gaming group is not super cut throat and usually every army has at least one non"net-list" unit they enjoy. I typically play against Beasts and WoC but try not to tailor.

I'm certain my tyrant build is far from ideal but I'd really like to keep the Thiefstone, BoOP, and Rockeye for fluff reasons (I'm a sucker for fluffy choices)!

We were thinking of expanding to 2.4k or 2.5k soon which I'd add 2 giants and some other tidbits if 2.5k.

Sorry for the rant and here it is:

-Tyrant with brace of ogre pistols, Sword of Striking, Thiefstone, Rockeye, Giant slayer big name, heavy armor, enchanted shield
-Firebelly lvl2, great weapon, Ruby Ring, Dispel scroll
-Bruiser BSB, heavy armor, iron fist, Dragonhide Banner
-10 Bulls, IFs, Full command
-10 Ironguts, Full command
-3 single saber tusks
-1 Ironblaster
-5 Leadbelchers with a Bellowed

If my math is correct (no guarantee :p) that should be 1994 which leaves me with a handful of points but nothing really to spend them on.

Any tips/advice/comments are appreciated!

Looks great.  I'd love to see some sort of magical banner on the Ironguts however?  You could even put the Dragonhide Banner on them and then tool the BSB up with magical trinkets.

Agree with Jimmy,

I'd prefer to see the dragonhide banner on the ironguts. Get a 4+ ward on your bsb with a great Wep to put a big roadblock if anyone brave enough charges in toughness 5, 4 wounds, 4+ ward isn't easy to get through.

Other than that.. lots of ogres for a 2k point army.. opponents will struggle to take down 60 toughness 4 wounds Good luck!

I actually never realized the Ironguts banner carrier had that big of an allowance (used to it being only like 25pts or so from elf armies and such) so that'll be an awesome place for it! That would also free up the BSB for magic items which would help keep him alive.
