Hey guys.
I've picked up a Forgeworld Rhinox Rider over the weekend and was wanting to know if I can add this to a unit of Mournfang?? As a Rhinox.
This will make my 4 unit a 5 with LD8 Stubborn! Or will I have to use them all as either Mournfang or Rhinox. There is no rules for joining units on profile but I've never used a Forgeworld model.

As far as I know, you can't use the Rhinox riders without your opponent's approval. Now, I'm 100% sure that they can't join different units as they are a regular troop choice, not heroes. So if you want to use.your Rhinox rider asa Rhinox rider, you will have to use him alone and get the approval of your opponent.
that being said, you can use him as a regular Mournfang rider if you just feel like using the model.

Good point on the regular troop. I think that's right.
I really like the model, with it been the champ. I could run him solo. Cheaper than a stonehorn.

SeBM is correct here, there is certainly no precedent for allowing different troop types to join one another without a clear rule stating as much (kroxigors with skinks etc). But I adore the rhinos cavalry models and definitely think you should use them (and get a few more!)

Wasn't there a Rhinox-riding Lord special character? No, he was actually riding a Juggernaut! See if you can find the rules for him; he could join MFC (If your opponent was cool with you running him.)

I have two Rhinox and I am using them in my Mournfang as unit champions. This is the first unit of 4. I'll post better pics once they are completely mounted and painted.

He was riding a mechanical Rhinox made by the Chaos Dwarves. It was rumored to be daemon-forged of course, but in the same way a Kai-dai Destroyer is.

Oh, he was mentioned in our old book too. I'm impressed he can ride a K'daai Rhinox though, K'daai are basically Daemons enslaved via brass bodies. That's some serious willpower right there!
