I have collected WHFB for the past few years, collecting a Wood Elf army mostly assembled but only slowly being painted. They weren't played that much either as they were suffering from Old-edition-itus. But were still fun to play as I enjoy synergy armies. They give you a good sense of feeling when things start to go in your favour in a battle.
but then Finally..... The Woodies got a new book, which I think is pretty well balanced a few units got a kick up the arse. The forest spirits got a slight nerf but got cheaper as a result and still have a role to play in lists. The update also forced my hand in wanting to rid myself of my 40k army. I decided the new edition (if you can call it that) with all the other ever changing releases digidex'es etc was getting to much, so I went all in on the fantasy front wallet funds.
So anyway I thought a Gnoblog was in order! Although it does lack Ogres... or Gnoblars maybe I should try and hide one in each photo eventually....
Right so Wood Elves need a
Wood....

and some Elves....

The Glade Guard still need some touchups... but this will start me off. Let me know your thoughts, I am going after a Modryn Night Glen theme, hopefully doing moonlit weapons etc... when I figure out how.. metallics arn't my strong point..
Thanks
