40 gnoblars are there for a tarpit and breaking steadfast

trappers and tusks do what they do best.

Scouting Pistoleaters are a theme choice even if they are effective. Is it worth dropping the pistols for AHW and GW?

Looking good mate.  I think it ticks all the boxes.  Why the Maneaters however?  Just curious as you could drop them for a tooled up unit of MFC and add in another Gorger?  I think you're putting more than enough pressure on the enemy back line with all the Gorgers that will turn up, they simply won't be able to deal with them all in one turn and the addition of some fast mfc would be a welcomed addition.

The Maneaters are there for ranged firepower and removing regen plus maneaters just rock. Do you think its worth dropping the maneaters for more gorgers then i dont have any ranged damage. Im not going to run scouts with the pistoleaters its gonna be poison stubborn. The maths in the list is wrong I can only fit 3 gorgers with about 50pts left. So im gonna take firebelly instead of butcher what do you think?

Nope the maths is right I was counting HA on Meaters. Is heavens the best lore for this list or is beasts or another Maw be better?

I'd probably avoid beasts, heavens is always good purely for Iceshard Blizzard, can't look past Death either for snipes.

I like Heavens for the most part, however in this case I think Beast may be the way to go.  Savage Beast on Skrag will get the tally up VERY quickly.  Then the Gorgers can run wild.

I am putting together a Skrag list as well and will be trying Beasts in it.  I'll let you know how it turns out.  Probably wont' get to play it until next week though.  Have an ETC tournament in New England this weekend.

I don't think skrag counts for the butcher tax because he is not a butcher or slaughtermaster.

And honestly, instead of those 6 maneaters, I'd take more gorgers. And instead of gnoblars, I'd take more ironguts, especially since you got the runemaw.

@nells I would love to take more iron guts but the comp hit will be too big, thats why the gnoblars are there. With out the maneaters I only have 1 ironblaster for ranged power.

I like the list, i think its solid and Lore of Beasts would be my choice.

That said how do you deal with cannon snipping of Skrag?  Isnt he on a 50mm base?

He is on a chariot base. This question happens a lot, lookout sir is on unit type not base size. he is still monstrous infantry

Very much looking forward to hearing how this goes with the list.

Talked to my GW rep and he believes Skrag counts as the Butcher/SM on Maw so other casters are free to take the other lores.
