Maneaters with real guns :)

I am very proud to tell you all that i finally finished a unir of six maneaters with real ogre pistols. And i created a new bsb meanwhile with a Enchanted (Gnoblar) shield  
They are not finished painting though. But let me know what you think and any sugguestions that you might have are welcome. Also how to use them

Poisen definitely, tok four wounds of a charging Frost Phoenix on stand and shoot reaction. Still working on the second rule. Havent tried sniper yet. As long as i keep having less than -4 modifier. Otherwise poisen doesnt work. So -1 from multishot, -1 from long distance and -1 from sniper?  They are quick can i then march and shoot?

I am fairly sure you can only move and shoot without the modifier.

But otherwise you are right... -3 to hit and with bs4 you will hit on a 6+ when sniping unless you get another modifier - like light cover, which can very fast make sniper a less Ideal rule

correct me if im wrong but wouldnt you not get the - for multiple shots because with sniper you dont take your normal shots and instead take 1 sniper shot at -1 ? in the brb it says "a model with the sniper special rule can make a special sniper shot instead of shooting normally"

Im pretty sure every model can fire two sniper shots. but i will check up on it. Any how i think i use poisen and swiftstride or scout for the extra mobillity.

Great effort but they would look even better if you clean up the mould lines and drilled the gun barrels.

With a pin drill. It's actually quite easy, and being brutally honest it does look a bot better; but they do look great though.


If you take a look at the guns on these Lootas I did you can see that the gun barrels are hollow. This was done with a tiny drill bit and a hobby drill or pin drill (or sometimes called an Archimedes drill). If you can't get one anywhere else then GW now sell them.
