Ill be writing this up on the hour of play. It's been accurate so far but I still don't trust this app for points calculation. But it's a godsendfor saving time. And means I can blast out lists like there's no tomorrow
What are your total points for this list? Also, don't think you are supposed to post points for individual models/upgrades.  Point per unit are standard.  Keeps GW off the forum's collective butts.

I would put the Lookout Gnoblar on the unit the chars will go in, preferably both units of core.  That way if the BSB leaves the unit for some reason you still get the benefit.  Also, the points would count towards core instead of Hero.

List looks interesting.  Never played a carpet Tyrant before, nor have I gone with so little magic support at this point level.  I have a feeling this list will struggle against fast elf lists and won't have really any magic to buff your units/characters.  Probably won't be able to get off a single spell unless you irresistibly cast it.

All that being said, I like that the list is different.  Please let us know how it plays.
Total points are 3000 at the top. This is just a rough copy for tomorrow. It will all be totalled and tweaked accordingly beforehand onto paper.this is just how I prefer to jot down lists at will. I'm looking forward to see how it goes too. If my flying tyrant is any good I'm certainly going to look forward to converting a model to use in future battles for sure. I'm going to go for irongut bunker for my characters. They have the armor save and my opponent WILL capitalise on this. He tells me he's playing empire. So the maneaters and flying tyrant will be a nice surprise for him. Muhahaa.

I actually decided to make a flyrant because well... Ogres have no flying units. And what better to have a big old badass whizzing around on a rug for comedy value

I'll take points off in the morning. For GW purposes
I like the list.  Only comment would be to swap the Hellheart over to the Firebelly purely because if someone needs to run out like crazy to gain range on the enemy caster then he's the one to do it as you can dual purpose him to breath some fiery damage onto some lucky unit.

Excellent strategy. Ill bear it in mind. I was considering taking 2 level one firebellies but opted for the extra wizard level on lotgm.I now realize extra breath weapons against empire men is better. But not to worry I don't want to go too overkill. Anyway thanks
Putting two breath weapons into empire troops, or even better, witches, is glorious. I like my meat well-done ;)

No such thing with Ogres.  :)

This is an interesting list, at least... It's pretty choppy to read, but I'm guessing that's because of the format of whatever program you used to establish the list ;) no worries, though, I can still sift just as fine.

A couple things to consider:

1. For your Flyrant (ha), maybe swap out the Enchanted Shield for the Charmed Shield. It'll help soak up the first cannon shot that your guy's inevitably going to take. Yeah, you have the Tal. of Prot., but to ignore the first hit on a 2+ outright makes him a lot more sustainable against incoming cannon fire. Combine that with the Carpet, and you have a pretty solid fighter in the flank of some unlucky fellows by turn 2 (hopefully!).

2. As for having two Tyrants... Idk, I've just found that they need the magical augments of the Maw (or Beasts) to really have a good chunk of fighting power/staying power. I generally only run one Tyrant and a Slaughtermaster with the Sickle, so as to give the Tyrant the chance to really fight back against the scariest stuff our opponents have to send at us (namely, blender lords from VC or WoC, or even the Nurgle DP). But, as it is, having a level 2 is alright... I'd almost consider giving him Grut's Sickle, so that he's casting at +4 (+5 after lore) and still having a bit of an impact in the magic phase. But, that's just me 8)

3. Are you planning on leaving the Maneaters weapon-less? I'd say give them at least a couple AHW and a GW to give them some more bite to their fight :P You'd be getting 13Str5 and 3Str7 attacks from the unit, which is pretty hearty... Or, you could even not get the GW and just go with two AHW's for 16Str5 attacks; for a couple points, you get two more dice to roll, which is important in getting those poison hits to trigger!

...Other'n that, I like this list. It steps a little away from the generic netlist, mostly by the use of double Tyrant, so I approve of this.

POST A BATTLE REPORT FOR US TO SEE AND LEARN FROM YOUR EXPERIENCE PWEEZ TANKS!!!! :D

Ah guys... The force was strong in this one. It was pretty much wipeout by turn 3. He took 2 grand canons, hellblaster, steam tank. 14 inner circle knights, another block of knights, some spearmen. All the units buffed with warrior priest. And (Karl) Franz Ferdinand. Totally a great battle on my hands here. Or not. Turn 1 he shoots my ironblaster to 1 wound with cannonfire. Then cheekily finishes it off with the steamtanks engineer. 2 sabre flee. One off the board. The other is finished by archers . My 3 sabre is taken by another block of archers down to one wound and flees. My scouts get annihilated by the hellblaster. To one maneater remaining. I need not say too much else. My rolling was terrible. One or 2 feasible here and there. But he was on fire.rolling 6's like a boss. '' Boom cannon, firing. Dead, boom cannon, firing dead,.... Combat, massacring all your nice juicy ogres, no bother at all"

It was agreed that should take this list again. It just wasn't meant to be on the day. As for battle report. We need to finish painting a few new models yet. And the board needs painting also. But that will all be to come when we get around to it. We play almost every week.

When I play again next week with this list I'll report it and put the information on here for everyone to see. And thanks for the advice. It will be useful. My opponent is a seasoned General. And almost impossible to crack. It's only making me better though. So I don't mind losing against him. For now.

I need to give him the wrecking crew. Maximum impact hits, breath weapons in to face, scouting vanguard the cannons. Full blown charge forward in a line and take some frakking magic.
Ouch, that sounds like a filthy list he took.  Did he have Demis too?

Better luck with the next game.  Cheers.
