Firebelly and Butcher at 1200pts?

Hello Guys/Gals,

So I just started Fantasy and I'm going to participate in the Escalation League that the local GW store is starting.  I already bought a Butcher for my 600pt list before I realized that it seems like a lot if people suggest a Firebelly instead. My question is when the league goes to 1,200pts should I run both casters or is a Butcher enough until it goes to 1,800pts or whatever the next points increase is?

Firebelly is the best way to go for point cost with the ruby ring if you can for double fireball and good in all lists. It's up to you if you want to run a butcher at higher levels.

What I would think of doing is using your butcher as a slaughtermaster in higher games and add a Brusier model for BSB.Those three work well together. Slaughtermaster and Butcher model is more or less the same.

I think the best thing now is that you can switch! : )
Sometimes the butcher will be good, sometimes the firebelly will be better. But at the same time it will be rough in smaller games to squeeze both in as you'll need the points for more models.. and later you'll need the points for a BSB.

The S4 breath weapon attack is awesome against hordes of infantry.

You'll use him eventually Martin but for low point battles the Firebelly is just so hot.   

That Firebelly is sure nice.

In small games, a fireball HURTS big time.

And that breath weapon str 4. It's godly in both CC and from range. Especially usefull against fast cavalry, which can really rule small games (lots of space to manouvre).

Just pop him out of the unit (if it's relatively safe) and blow those 10 Dark riders to pieces with your breath weapon
