Ogre flesh repaint advice

original thread ↗

Hello to all,
I want to change the paint scheme on some ogres i bought , specifically the flesh. The models are painted the traditional green/grey ogre flesh from the previous version book.
The catch is that i dont want to mess around with paint strip and mess up the whole model (pants, armor, weapons) and its base.
I want to do more of human like flesh tones  , and was wondering if using washes + paint or glazes + washes + paint i could turn them around and salvage them.
I am a ok tabletop painter but i lack the colour mixing and using skills to accomplish my goal.
Thanks a lot for reading.
I just did mine like this:

Ratskin Flesh (base)
Reikland Fleshshade (wash)
Cadian Fleshtone (heavy-osh drybrush)
Kislev Flesh (light drybrush)

V quick and simple and whilst not giving perfect painting and results it is very quick.

Have a look at my gnoblog to see how they came out if you want.

Looks like a great recipe. I redid the flesh on most of my ogres in just this way, and it doesn't take as long as you might think.
