white ogres

So i decided to kick this off with a few considerably blurry pictures of the first 8 bulls I've  managed to paint. My brush is currently messed up, so i need to buy a couple of new ones and then i can get stuck in again.

Initially i wanted my ogres to be grey skinned, however something made me lean towards painting their skin white. Their eyes and teeth remain black as to add to the soulless, ghoulish look that i wanted my ogres to have.

In a crappy attempt to do something cool, the bull units banner has been painted to resemble an avalanche sliding down the mountain. The unit will consist of 11 bulls and 1 bruiser, more bulls will be added in higher point games to make it a proper avalanche.

I gave all my ogres swords or sabres if you will, with a particular selection of heads- i managed to help take that steppes style that initially attracted me to the ok models and army and make it a bit more uniform.

This is red pants, no one in the tribe likes him, primarily because he thinks he's better than everyone else for having red pants.

I think the white looks really good. Especially like the banner, thats a winner for sure.
Any future models to paint? Would be interested to see a mournfang coloured to this scheme!

Yea I've got 3 more bulls and the bruiser to paint. Then I'll get started on my 8 iron guts, 3 mournfang cav, the tyrant and two sabretusks proxied with chaos warhounds- which I'll be painting to look like yheetes.

I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to paint the actual mournfang, riders will just be the same as the rest of the ogres in the army.

Nice ogre there! That gnoblar is looking a bit too tough though... better watch himself or he might get eaten up.

He looks malnourished.
