Hey everybody, I'm brand new to Warhammer and miniature games in general actually. I've been doing this for less than six months and I've got a few models that I want to share with the community and get some advice on modeling, painting and gaming in general. I've played three games now... Won two, though the second win was a team game two-on-two. Ogres for the win guys!
FIRST, some fluff, then I'll post some pics.
So, I'm Welsh born and bred, but I live in the States, so I'm very proud of where I come from (missing home and all). For this reason, I decided to paint my ogres like celts, with curvy blue warpaint, etc. I think it looks great, though I haven't done in on many models yet... most of my models are solidly in the assembled, but not yet painted stage.
I have no idea how to make these images show up in the actual post, so I've attached the images...
The first two pics are of my finished Tyrant, Boudicca. She's the only model I've based so far. She is a Bones Fire Giant Princess model and the second pic shows her size comparison with the regular ogre bulls.
The firebelly is third, the fourth is of pics of the bulls/ironguts that I've finished painting, though they haven't been warpainted up yet...
Hope you guys like them, all comments and any advice at all is welcome!
