Tenderiser - the look of the thing?

original thread ↗

Does it HAVE to be a big mace type thing.  This is more a rules/wysiwyg thing rather than creative thing - but i thought people also might like topop up pics of coversions ddone for there tyrant double handed weapon of any sort.

My particular prob is that i really like the massive swoard look - have converted said sword to look double handed, but find all the magic weapons i may wish touse say (large mace headed etc etc), can i still use this huge sword as a tenderiser in tournies?
If i can see farther it is only because i have stood on the shoulders of giants.......
yes you can - I'd try and make it look as if the tyrant is holding a great weapon, but apart from that, no problem.

Magic items are not restricted to being WYSIWYG. Thus it could be a tiny knife in his pocket if you really want to. ;)

Is that a two-handed knife in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?
Since most people use a large hammer that looks like a meat tenderizer as thiers I can't see why you can't use a sword.  I personally would let my opponent know when I placed the model what it was, but that also gives you the psychological edge of forcing your opponent to avoid him with anything you can challenge :)
This thread is worthless without pictures
I've toyed with the idea of using a big halberd-like thing as my tenderizer.

It's not a problem, since it's a magic item. Just do what you like :)

I had to Google Big Red Book to figure out it meant the WFB rulebook - I thought it had something to do with Mao.

A Tyrant's fist should be a good enough tenderizer.  But a sword would do too. ;)

If you are going to scratch build the sword, just make it look blunt as if the blade pounds the tyrant's next meal rather than cuts it.
