awsome idea for mourfang unit filling

made a chariot base in lenght and two chariot bases width made som cool stuff on that base and puted on a stonehorn isnt that awsome  but i din't glue it on so i could have him on the other base to unit fillir activate

Well, we would probably want to see some pictures of your work. And these could be posted on The Butcher's Cauldron. Is this an awesome idea? We don't know until we see what you have done.

Is this cheap way? Well, rule of thumb here. If you are just trying to be cheap, then it's not going to be cool. If you are trying to create something absolutely fantastic, it has potential to be cool. In my opinion this also depends on the points of the model. I don't mind replacing few gnoblars with beartraps, spikes, etc. But when you are replacing 70+pt model, it should be stunning, not just some random stuff on the ground.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to discourage you in anyway! I love unit fillers myself.

Um, call me stupid but I am not sure I understand the question? Are you asking if unit fillers are a good idea, or the unit filler you are suggesting specifically?

I would re-iterate what Pirkkalalainen has said; we could really do to see what the model/ base is and then if we can help at all, or vote if you would like we all surely will.

I would have a problem with this because a Stonehorn is, well, a Stonehorn.

If you are trying to save money and have an awesome filler it fails on 3 accounts.

1) You lose more money than you save, a box of 2 Mournfang is cheaper than a Stonehorn kit.

2) It makes zero sense to have a Stonehorn, which is a model in the same army, be the filler for a different unit.

3) Mournfangs are not a unit that is run in enough numbers to where a filler makes sense.

A filler I think would be cool for Mournfangs(assuming you wanted to make one) would be something like a large rock with a single Mournfang crouching on top of it ready to spring. Or a mournfang bowling over a bunch of spearmen/elves/goblins. Not a very out of place Stonehorn.
