Does anyone on here use Universal Battle? I am in desperate need of road testing some comp/tournie lists, and the local gaming scene has died a death recently :/
Anyone care to show me the why's where's of how to play games on there?

After all, painting 100 night goblins is something you do in the morning just before you are off to work.
And I think you missed a 0 when you wrote 11 armies. The correct nr should be 110 armies I would think, based on your painting speed.

Yup, i use it from time to time. It is OK but not brilliant. As long as you work within its limitations and do not expect an easy or immersive experience it does the basics fine. It is great for tourney testing as you suggest.
Before you start gaming on there create a few lists and save the code. This saves a lot of time. If you haven't done so start a play field called "just testing" or something similar and get used to how to set up the table, organise units and move them as well as how to manipulate the tools.
If, having done that, you are still struggling just post again and I will try to help you out.

I'm looking to get some games in using universal battle myself. Timezone is CST. Really having a lot of difficulty getting pickup games. Would be really nice to have a reliable way to organize games, get in contact with other people that use the software. Their forums suck really bad and not many people seem to use them.

You'll want to go to universal battle, register, and you'll need some way of doing voicechat, I do it via skype myself, one can do text based but its really hard to teach someone without voice.
Then I'd suggest registering for the non-free account, you can pay him for like a month for 3 dollars.
