Well I did manage to fit some stuff in around playing the titanfall beta for far to long.

Finished the rest of the bases for the 1500pts



And with the others



Front IG rank is done but no pic apart from at the bottom.

Built the rest of the gut star, bruiser bsb and slaughter master. Decided to do these in batch mode and managed to get through skin based and shaded, metal work finished and based the pants some wip below what I took throughout the day









So still well behind but making progress none the less. Plan is to finish IG this week hopefully and the treat myself with the bruiser.

On the nipple subject just a Baal red wash around it. No dot highlight. What are you dot highlighting with a pink?

I just dot the tip with a speck of Kislev flesh. I like the effect

Those snow/frost bases make me want to smash mine to bits! Very impressive

Sorry its been a while since updating but work has taken over my free time. Anyway glad to say iron guts now finished.



Next up Slaughtermaster and the mournfang.

They look fantastic, great stuff!

These Ironguts look really good. The colour pallet really works, the light blue creates a stark contrast to the other details on the models. Basing looks very dramatic and adds real character to the unit. Well done with these.....

Haha god bless ITV rubbish TV. Got 45 mins so did some.skin and got base coats down on parts of him. Then played with tamiya clear red and smoke.

Great painting so far and the bases are phenomenal! Slightly curious about the movement trays though, will they cause problems when lining up with opposing units?

Thanks for the compliments. On the movement tray front I measure from the front rank and ask opponents to do the same so far no issues
