Hello does any one no of the sabreskins tribe would like to have my ogre army based of them or the sons of the mountain

Hi,
I am assuming that this is linked to the question (with poll; now deleted) on another area of the forum.
I can't really answer your question with anything other than this;
The information you have about the "sabreskins" tribe comes from a book from Black Library (i am assuming) and is related to Golfag and his maneaters.
This book (after much research, trust me) is really the only current information that i can find on the internet about this tribe. So what little you have is probably your lot.
In the past there has been some fluff about Golfag's tribe in various Ogre army books but those books are no longer in print. They can be bought off the internet, often at great expense.
I am informed by a friend that when the character of Golfag was created way back in 1983 (ish) there was some rudimentary fluff about him and his maneater mercenaries, not allot about his former tribe. This was (i am told by said friend) printed in an early (and we are talking early ) edition of White Dwarf circa the issues 50-200 era. He can't find it and TBH isn't going to look for it.
The fluff has changed slightly over time as the army and Warhammer world has been developed so is not the same anyway.
The problem i see, and i could be wrong, is that no one is really that bothered about Golfag's tribe before he became the Maneater mercenary. It's kind of like asking someone "what go-cart/ push bike did Nigel Mansell ride before he became a formula one driver". In the big scheme of things it doesn't really matter that much.
Now, i know that this doesn't really help you at all, so i am really sorry. If it's any consolation (which i doubt) no solid fluff means that you can write it yourself and this in tern means you can model you army the way you want.
I am assured by my friend that the Black library book, which i am assuming you got the inspiration from, is pretty much all the current information there is about the Sabreskins tribe.
Now...i could be wrong about all this and i would be more than happy to be proved wrong by someone else on the forum. Dont think i didn't try and find stuff for you though...i searched all the other forums, warhammer wiki, Lexicanum, old friends, other Ogre players, GW staff etc etc and still found precious little.

Now this is some great amount of time and effort invested helping an young ogre with a question! Please have a gnoblar for your efforts.
I just want to say that English ain't my mother tongue, so it is far from perfect and I can just hope that you guys can understand me. And feel free to point out my spelling errors or major grammatical mistakes :]

I would have liked to tap into something out there that could have enlightened this enthusiast (and TBH myself, as I have never heard of the Sabreskins tribe) but alas, even contacting old gaming buddies from way back in the echelons of time, collectively we found nowt! Very disappointing from my pov.
