Just wondering what the community thinks. I have a large troll blood force that i rarely use, but have started playing more fantasy. I have come up with fluff (see my tribe info) and magnetized the bases to use them on square bases and trays. I play tested it with a buddy and was happy with the results. What do you guys think??

As far as I'm concerned non GW models are fine for friendly games, games at home or at your local gaming club so long as your opponent is made fully aware what each proxy model represents on the table. Try pulling this at your local GW store however and they will mostly likely tell you to get it off their table or boot you out. My local GW Store Manager is a really nice guy but he doesn't allow proxies or other companies models on the tables there, in fact he doesn't really like you even talking about other gaming systems (We have a fairly big Malifaux group in our area and i'v ebeen told off for chatting about it on the shop floor). It's mainly to do with him not getting into trouble with the higher ups and GW not promoting products not endorsed by themselves.

^ exactly that TBH.
You have two things that are quite different here. One is the models and the other is the rules for the game. So long as you are using the "rules" for Warhammer and the Ogre Army book...the models shouldn't matter.
As MasteroDisaster said; so long as your opponents know which model is what and the base sizes are correct, go for it! The rules to the game are a different issue from the models you use to play it. I have seen people bung Orc heads on ogre bodies and play an Orc/ Ogre army.
Of course, this really wont wash in a GW store....if it's not a GW or FW product (and sometimes FW wont be allowed either) then your best not even going in.

I do not live near a GW so will not have to worry about that confrontation luckily.
