Ogres Army, the new wip (photos inside!)

original thread ↗

Hey guys! i've been far away from this army(and this forum) for  a loooong , looong time..but you know, love never ends, And i just re-bought an ogres army :) I love modelling miniatures, and i would  try do do something special for everything i have, so i decided to make my army "cloaked", is a simply conversion that dont make me loose a lot of time, and i think i like it. The thing in top of the two hand weapon should be a brazier (fire pan), and i hope that after painting it i'll reach that effetc. Hope you like it, and i''l treasure every advice you will do!

thank you all, and sorry for my english!
Bienvenue à bord!

Oh wow, nice cloak. And I assume it is done rather quickly 'cause you said doing cloaks won't slow you down too much. :) I clearly have a lot to learn from you since it takes days for me to get a cloak done :D and it still won't look half as good as the one of yours.

Nice start for your army anyways. Can't help thinking Olympic torch runner tho'. :D This guy clearly has some vanguard potential. Flames look ok, they maybe could be a bit taller and they could probably "lean" a bit backwards. You know? Like this one:

But they are clearly flames! And I'm sure they will be even better when painted. I like converting a lot too so I'm really waiting to see more from you! :)
I just want to say that English ain't my mother tongue, so it is far from perfect and I can just hope that you guys can understand me. And feel free to point out my spelling errors or major grammatical mistakes :]
Really ty man :) making cloaks tooks about 5 miutes each, dont think, it's more easy to try and do it than speak , believe me :) i would thank you a lot for the fire tip, i will work on it !!! I should probably post here now the BSB wip of my army(and change the posts name), take a look on this post if you want:)
thanks again :)
And here is my BSB wip, it will need more work, expecially on the rear of the standar, where i need to cover the staff with GS or milliput, trasforming them into wood. for now i just sticked them in some way(a lighter in this case XD) to see how they were togheter, and i liked it a bit. Hope you enjoy and comment , i love every help of any kind :)

Huge banners are the way to go! :) At least that's how I like my battle standard bearers. For me they should be some relics/banners that should be seen from "anywhere" on the battlefield! And this one sure is one like that. Base him on top of a small rock and this guy will hold your ground forever.

If you have any spare heads of any other races, or monster heads or something, hanging them to your standard could be nice addition to cause fear and hesitation in the hearts of your enemies.

And if this thread is starting to be more like a blog, we have a gnoblog area on the forums in case you are interested ;)
