Putting it all together, SM Kales ogre horde

Here is what I had to start with: 2 battalions, 1 box of IG, 2 boxes of MFC, 6 kitties, a SM and a Tyrant.
I created this:

1 SM with what I call "Gruts sickle"



1 Butcher, using left over parts from the SM and some green stuff






1 BSB Bruiser, used a 2h weapon and made it into a 1h to show strength and power






That's it for the characters, core is next.

I also made 18 IG from just the two battalions.  I liked the perch for the gnoblar so I attached it to the other banner.





I also made 20 gnoblar trappers from the battalions and the IG box, made them look like they just set a few bear traps preparing.





That's it for core, I still have four ogre bodies apart from the 8 lead belches, trying to decide if I wanna make some maneaters or ogres.

For the 4 MFC, I didn't really do much just standard to my liking with the options they give you, however I did add another half to the champions weapon, for looks and to symbolize his extra attack.





Didn't do the cats, they are pretty strait forward, and the Ironblaster is on its way as I type.

Ogres are slightly more surviable than IGs when equipped with ironfists so they might be a good investment

I do believe I have 8 ogre models left so I will probably make regular ogres to have, and I can just use a SB from the ironguts. That way I have a selection. I am actually changing the BSB a little, gonna add some Armour and a MFC GW. That picture will be up later today

The IG vs Ogres is an old debate. Some say ogres with parry last longer, some say IG. Because IG will kill more per turn to have less retaliating hits next combat round. I Would say its nice to have a nice group of bull and use the IG for more of a supporting role to smash into choice targets. Because you have to pick your targets with great weapons.

Im no expert on tactics though, Regardless, everything is looking aces
