Back to Ogres

Hey everyone, it's been awhile since I've been on here and since I've played any warhammer in general. I stopped playing shortly before Ogres got the new book and since then sold off my old OK army. But I've starting getting that warhammer itch again and have recently met some new drinking buddies that also happen to play Warhammer so I'm starting up Ogres once again and luckily for me I kept quite a few boxes of Ogre Battalions that I never built and decided to hang on too.

So as it stands I have three of the old boxes of battalions and one SM/Butcher which leaves me with:
42 Ogres
60ish Gnoblars
and a SM/Butcher

My question is how should I assemble them all before I get to far ahead of myself? I was thinking of going 6 Leadbelchers, 9 Maneaters, 10 Ironguts(drop 2 characters in for a unit of 12), and 16 Bulls(once again leaving room for potential characters), which leaves me 1 left to model as a BSB. Hows that sound?
The maneaters I was planning on doing at least 3 with ogre pistols/brace of hanguns(need to find spare handguns in that case from someone) and the rest with AHW's or GW's.

I am also picking up a Firebelly, 2 boxes of MFC, and an Ironblaster. How's all of that to get me started?

Sounds pretty solid, although if you buy 2 boxes of mournfang you'll get 2 pistols and bits to make the maneaters stand out a bit more.
What i did was make 3 with pistols from the mournfang kit, 1 with banner from mournfang kit 1 with horn (musician) from the mournfang kit and 3 with AHW from the mournfang kit.
I can pass them off as pistoliers or just drop all 8 and say they have AHW. In my opinion you don't need greatweapons, str5 at in3 is allready great.
Overall what you said looks solid, along with those you'll need some mournfang and an IB or 2.
