Hola,
I have no practical experience with Swedish comp but I noticed this thread at the OnG forum and that may serve as inspiration on how to value your units versus their cost, purposes and sizes.

Please do share what you end up with : )
Dont panic, Im sure some of the other guys here have more useful experience with the comp system.
Good luck!

Hi, I might be able to help you since 98% of the games that I have played have been with the Swedish comp. It all depends on how low you comp is allowed to be.
I´m preparing for a tournament I Sweden where you have to have a comp 15 army to be able to participate, other than being able to participate the comp does not matter. Ogres are ranked pretty high in the Swedish meta and therefore they have a pretty tough comp. But you can get a surprisingly tough Ogre-list in on comp 15.
For example one person is planning to bring:
Greasus Goldtooth -25(-3 non hunter- butcher character)
Bruiser: (bsb, great weapon, heavy armor, talisman of preservation) -6 (-10 bsb)(-3 non hunter- butcher character)
Hunter: (blood volture, ironfist, talisman of protection, stonehorn mount) -4 (-14 1st stonehorn)
9 Ogres (full command, ironfist, lookout gnoblar) -19
8 Irongutts (full command, lookout gnoblar, great weapons magic banner wailing banner) -22
Thundertusk 250 -12
Stonehorn 250 -22 (2nd stonehorn)
BONUS!! NO MAGIC +5
2396 16,5
(there is a special price for the playing who brings the hardest komp 16+ list to the tournament)
He has chosen Greasus for fluff reasons, but you could get a lv 3 slaughtermaster for the same comp score, and still be at comp 16. I think that this is a pretty tough list especially for being a comp 16.
But when you are playing with comp, you have to build your army around the comp. Most people that are just beginning playing with comp, take their regular list dual ironblaster, hellheart, guttstar etc and get upset when their list comps at 1 or something like that. You have to start for scratch and see what you can fit in and what you will have to sacrifice.

In general, you will need:
Medium sized units at best
At most one ironblaster
Limited magic
One of our monster models
As mentioned, Swedish comp really is pretty rough on Ogres. In general, look about this forum for the phrase 'They're really not bad, but we have better options in their point group' and take those

I like this thread. Out of curiosity, where can I find the most up-to-date version of the ogres swedish comp?
