I was wondering what was different fun comps fellow tyrants have witnessed and how challangeing were they?

I don't play nor ever had played with comp. Although I do just play with a couple of friends and don't do tournaments. In general, from what I have seen of the various comp rules it's a case of "limit what the writer(s) got butthurt by recently" I understand the arguments for and against but all it does is change one netlist into another or even worse, turns Warhammer into battle line only and fails to use the fullness of the BRB scenarios which are there to make you plan for all of them rather than a straight up smash face army.

Since I live in Sweden I have huge experience in using the Swedish comp. We use it in 90% of all the games we play. It does change how the armies are played and I think it is good. Sure I can´t play with a death-star without being greatly punished for it, but it is the same for everybody else. I think that it does promote to think outside the box and makes people bring more varied armies.
There is a tournament here in Sweden where your army have to be over 15 to participate, and many people are forces to think outside the box (that includes me). Sure some armies have an easier time, but it is the armies that seldom are found in the top rankings in the tournaments (in Sweden).
Here is the army that I am thinking about bringing to the tournament. I was “forced” to use two giants and 10 yhetees to manage, when did you last see someone play with that?
