Turn 1 - Ogre Kingdoms

Turn 1 - Warriors of Chaos

Curse of the Leper is dispelled from the Mournfang, Rancid visitations fails on the same target.
Turn 2 - Ogre Kingdoms
-----------------------

MFC charge into the Chaos Hounds as do the Ironguts. Bubble Trollguts is dispelled, Leadbelchers put 3 wounds onto the Skullcrushers. Ironblaster hits both Chimera's and both Regen. Both combats kill and overrun.
Turn 2 - Warriors of Chaos
--------------------------

BSB solo charges the Sabretusk, Chimera into the Sabretusk who fails terror and panics the Ironblaster off the table (read Ogre newbie moment 101). Curse of the Leper goes through making the Skullcrushers Toughness 7, powered up Fleshy Abundance is dispelled. Ironguts take 5 wounds, 1 Skullcrusher is killed n return who holds. BSB kills Sabretusk and overruns 4".
Turn 3 - Ogre Kingdoms
-----------------------

Ironguts charge into the Warriors of Nurgle, MFC into the flank of the Skullcrusher. Sabretusk rallies! Flaming sword goes through onto the Ironguts and a powered up Trollguts goes through causing a miscast and doing a wound on the MFC. Leadbelchers dish out 2 wounds to the Chimera. I hope to destroy the Skullcrusher with the MFC and over run into the Warriors flank however he dodges all damage and holds. It turns out however the Ironguts need no such assistance and they cut down enough Warriors and take a single wound in return thanks to Trollguts and cut down the Warriors.
Turn 3 - Warriors of Chaos
--------------------------

Chariots and Chimera charge into the Ironguts. I pop the Hellheart doing no damage but containing the magic phase. 2 Ironguts remain after the onslaught however in return the Chariot remains on 2 wounds and the Chimera is killed.
Turn 4 - Ogre Kingdoms
-----------------------

Leadbelchers and Sabretusk support the combat. Trollguts goes off onto the Ironguts. Chariot is destroyed and the Sabretusk runs down the Gorebeast Chariot.
Turn 4 - Warriors of Chaos
--------------------------

Daemon Prince into the Ironguts. Chimera fails charge against Ironguts. Curse of the Leper on the Daemon Prince is dispelled, Blades goes through granting it the Lore attribute. The Champion takes a single wound in the challenge.
Turn 5 - Ogre Kingdoms
-----------------------

Ironguts charge into Daemon Prince. Flaming Sword on the Leadbelchers is dispelled, Powered up Trollguts is dispelled. Leadbelchers put 2 wounds onto the Chimera. Champion is killed in the challenge.
Turn 5 - Warriors of Chaos
--------------------------

Chimera charges into the Leadbelchers. Powered up Fleshy Abundance goes through, Blades is dispelled. The second Irongut Champion steps forth and is slotted quickly. Chimera does 8 wounds however the Leadbelchers hold.
Turn 6 - Ogre Kingdoms
-----------------------

Sabretusk charges the flank of the Chimera. Flaming Sword goes IF onto the Leadbelchers doing a wound on each of the Chaos characters and killing an Irongut. Leadbelchers kill the Chimera. The Firebelly accepts the challenge of the Daemon Prince and dish out a wound each.
Turn 6 - Warriors of Chaos
--------------------------

BSB charges into the Leadbelchers. Curse of the Leper goes through onto the BSB and Blades on the Prince. Daemon Prince kills the Firebelly whilst the BSB gets killed via Stomp attack.
Result - Ogre Kingdoms Victory
Conclusion: It's nice to finally scratch up a win with the Ogres as I've had some terribly frustrating moments with them and this seems to be the first time they've behaved. I'm still very much getting used to this whole psychology and panic thing that I've simply ignored whilst playing Tomb Kings for the past near 2 years so that's something I've really got to change and develop. I wasn't happy with the MFC performance but I had some shocking rolls, I was hoping for them to charge in, clear the Skullcrushers and then over run for some more damage onto the Warrriors of Nurgle simply so they'd be in a better position but as it turns out they were simply tar pitted for basically the rest of the game.
The basic plan was to play very aggresively and get in my opponents face immediately and I think it paid off. Coming once again from using the Tomb Kings for so long this was a new concept as usually I'm sitting back, scoring damage from range and then defensively reacting to my opponent rather than attacking for reactions.
On the Ironblaster I must start keeping that close to the Irongut block for support rather than wander if off for opportunity targets and keep it away from 21 point Sabretusks. Silly me.
I don't think my brother has quite worked out how to use Chaos Hounds as yet and secondly I don't think he uses the Daemon Prince aggresively as he should but I fear the day when he does.
Thanks for reading.
