Sculpting Ogre anatomy w/ Greenstuff or Milliput

original thread ↗

Hello fellow Tyrants!

Can anyone point me to a good video tutorial that covers the basics of sculpting Ogre anatomy?

I was considering the viability of buying some Ogres from Mantic Games' Kings of War range; they have very skinny legs and guts, so was looking into buying them and sculpting thicker parts myself.

When I was looking through Youtube, I found no good videos for sculpting Ogre bellies, or even for arms/ shoulders/ Ogre fat-boobs. There must be something out there, right? :?

Can anyone help a brother out and point me towards some good tutorials? I'm a complete novice at sculpting, so feel like I need a video, rather than text tutorial, so I can follow it step by step a lot easier.

Any help would be great. Cheers.

Their tears will be a perfect addition to the Butcher's cauldron.
The Uncle Meat tutorial from miniature mentor is really good. Goes in depth with setting up the armature and sculpting muscles which is handy for doing your own ogres.

Hope this helps
Bellies are easy, roll a ball of green stuff, stick it where you want the belly, then smooth round the edges with a wet tool, pushing the edges of the ball in round the model's stomach area, so the transition into Ogrey girth is complete :)
Oh, and with a cocktail stick poke in a belly button.
I miss the Tenderiser...
I used to be called "Ghlezgar", if you want to know.
