2400 Storm of Magic for Wed

So, first time a buddy of mine has ever played SoM, so we decided on 2400 points. He'll be playing Lizards. This is my old SoM from when my Empire friend and I were playing frequently. C&C are more than welcome.

Hmm, after posting this, I just realized that the SM, if on a fulcrum, wont have a unit to plink wounds off of  for Grut's....therefore he wont be able to use it, right? I'll have to re-asses this list...

It's been a while for me, but I'd squeeze a tyrant in there. Also, I like the Fmir better than the truthsayer for fulcrum sitting as he can go toe to toe with a few more things (plus extra channeling dice is nice).

Love the hydra with venom spit. Kills mages on fulcrums dead (if it gets there will full wounds).

Not sure if you have the points, but dawnstar sword with OTS is a brutal combo on a tyrant.


Also, Ironblasters do a lot of damage to wizards on fulcrums...

My favorite combo was a Tyrant with Carpet, greedy fist and Dawnstar Sword. If you have presence you strip 10 wizard levels automatically... Very expensive for something with minimal saves...
