Painted by my 4 yr old Daughter

original thread ↗

I had to load the brush for her and held the model for her to paint but everything else is all her.
Anbody else getting their kids into the hobby early?

Quite remarkable - better than a lot of adults I have seen painting. :)

Seriously, this is is astounding work for someone so young... Wow :|

I have given you a pet Gnoblar for that, because she isn't a forum member :D

After all, painting 100 night goblins is something you do in the morning just before you are off to work.

And I think you missed a 0 when you wrote 11 armies. The correct nr should be 110 armies I would think, based on your painting speed.
That is very impressive! My army is in the post for her to paint for me, OK? ;)
LOL

Very good indeed I am most impressed. Thats decent painting full stop.

My little miss might have a while to go yet but she likes zombies cos they are small and not scary, and keeps asking how my guys are. Wraiths are "beautiful" She's not quite three so I am predicting great things for her.
Thankyou for the kind words.
I started her off a year ago aged 3. She painted the High Elves from the Isle of Blood set. She slapped pink and purple paint all over them :)
I also have a 1 year old son who loves the models and is always giving them kisses. He did chew an arm off one of my leadbelchers though :(

Ah, the more common off-battlefield injury, with parent gamers... I hope you've converted a sling for him :)

In all seriousness, the paint work on that model is impressive regardless of age, but for her age, it is most impressive indeed. Looks as though you may have a budding artist on your hands :)

Some of her 1st models she painted aged 3. She has come on leaps and bounds since then :)
I'd stick them in paint stripper and get her to do them again now, but keep one to show her when she gets older! :D
Oh my gosh. That makes me want to give up haha! She is amazing!

For four years old, that orc is amazing table top quality - and better then one of the guys around here does...
Omygod...thats indeed a good paintjob for a 4-year old...more then good, FANTASTIC. Some people here (as in Tilburg, the Netherlands) should get lessons from her.

BTW, i kinda like the purple/pink elves, not as a serious modelpainting thing, but more psychedelic awesomeness (much more then the elves deserver to be honest).

Grey

Bravo!

A few years ago I primed up 20 zombies and put them out with cheaps paints during a family halloween party and let the dozen kids go nuts, the results were amusing.. gold shoes, pink clothes, nothing realistic.
She take commission work???  :) :) :)

Great stuff, looks like she has some real talent!

The dude abides.
