Ok, Dwarf line up was as follows:
Unit of Longbeards (with hero)
Unit of Normal Soldiers (can't remember thier names) (with hero)
3 Cannons
1 Organ Gun
unit of 20 Pistol guys.
My lineup was:
Butcher
Bruiser
6 Ironguts
6 Bulls
3 Leadbelchers
Gorger
3 Yhetee's
24 Gnobbies
8 Gnobbie Trappers
The game started with him hitting me with his cannons and organ guns. Combined all 4, over 2 turns completley wiped out my bulls.
I had gotten my gorger out in turn 2, which attacked the cannon the following turn. (Because i moved in much closer then his minimum guess range
)
Leadbelchers got off 12 hits, but only 4 wounds on his pistol men, killing all 4.
Butcher cast some braingobbler (1 time) and bonecruncher (3 times failing once) (all using 1 dice per spell [this is in reference to another thread]) Killed about 3 Longbeards with Bonecruncher, then made em panic by braingobbler.
Which helped, but i STUPIDLY charged them with the butcher....(i seriously regret that) and lost him the next combat phase.
Gorger wiped out the cannon team, charged the normal soldiers. Bruiser got the flank, but got whooped. Gorger did plenty of damage.
Gnobbies took on the longbeards (which worked out perfectly for me, as this is what i run the gnobbies for) They got wiped out, but gave time for my ironguts to come up and do some damage.
Ironguts wiped out the longbeard unit
All the while, during his turns he systematically lost his cannons due to misfires. 1 cannon team died due to a misfire, the other panic from another braingobbler and left the table (funnily enough) this happened before the butcher was taken out (sorry i forgot to mention it)
Yhetee's got one shot down from the pistol guys, then ran due to a panic. Rallied the next turn, but it was a bit late
All in all, all he had left was the pictol guys, and the ironguts made shortplay of them.
.........VICTORY TO ME!
I am happy with this list. For more specific situatiosn, just ask in the thread, and I know....i am sorry the battle report is a bit all over the place, but its hard to recall all the turns...
