WANTED: Pics of Golgfag maneater on a sprue

original thread ↗

hey, basically i am looking for pics/info for Golgfag. particularly a back shot.

I am interested in making the model my tyrant but i do not want the standard on his back. can anybody tell me or better yet show me what his back looks like pre-construction.

is there a slot that the standard fits into?
is it pre attached and can be cut away easily?

any photo's of how he looks from behind without the standard who be most helpful.

There is a Square slot for the standard to fit in if i remember right so its not pre attached no.
I used a gutplate to cover it so it looks like a shield on his back.
There is a pic assembled on my Gnoblog.
My Golgfag won't have the banner on his back - that is attached to his unit of MEs.

You have to GS the cloak but it is no biggie.
My hood is my castle...
Thanks guys. Neezy those first to photo's of him in you blog is what I was looking for. They are a bit blurred but what you have done is what I was thinking of anyway. Although he will not have the banner at all.

Have already ordered myself a golgfag so my army will finally have a tyrant.

Tyrant and 2xfirebelly list here I come

The Banner has a tiny slot at the bottom of it, and it fits into the back of Golfgag's cape. You don't have to glue the banner on, and all you have to do is cover the slot with greenstuff and fill the gap. That way, you have a bannerless Golfgag.
