Hey all, last night a mate and myself had a 2k game Ogres vs WoC when he rolled for his spells he rolled 4 , 4's does this mean he would have to take the 4th spell then get to choose the other 3?

I'm not sure on the official ruling on this, but I would suggest re-rolling the other three dice, until 4 separate spells are rolled...

After all, painting 100 night goblins is something you do in the morning just before you are off to work.
And I think you missed a 0 when you wrote 11 armies. The correct nr should be 110 armies I would think, based on your painting speed.

You take the fourth spell and choose the other 3. Don't remember the page number (am at work) but it's in the magic section under selecting spells.

Cthulhu is right (now I should prolly make a sanity test :p)
Also worth mentioning that he could still drop the 4th for the sig.

Happens more often than you might think, especially with higher level casters (though I did see a guy roll 1,2,3,4,5,6) (5 and 6 were rolled to prove a point). But that's one of the perks. Provided he picks 1 as his sig, he can choose all 4 of his spells. (one is Sig or 4, 3 are whtaever he wants.)
