I've been a Warhammer (and 40k) player for years now on and off. And have always been inspired by the stunning logs people put together. I love surfing through them for inspiration, and I love creating them for the motivation they provide.
I've had a real "love hate" relationship with warhammer fantasy to be honest... the 7th ed was my "golden age" of wargaming, with my first fully painted armies, my close friends and I playing game after game on our pingpong table, tournies galore, and fun to be had. 8th started well, but went downhill as our "scene" fell into chosen deathstars and other things (that frankly I just wasnt enjoying). Now after a break, I want to start again. I am a player who likes his optimization, but I plan on... "Relaxing" is a good term... as I take this foray back into the game I fondly remember getting me into the Tabletop Scene to begin with.
