wood elf conversion thought for next army

So I'm thinking of going back to my first army in fantasy, wood elves. I played them for 8 of my 13 years of playing warhammer fantasy. But I don't want to go with the theme of trees and tree spirits. I want to theme them around wolves. Instead of Orion as a spirit he'd be a big a** werewolf. And instead or tree kin and tree men they'd be werewolves. And instead of riding horses they would ride wolves.

I really like the idea but want to see what other people think too

That's what I was thinking. Or to save some money I'd just convert my own.

Circle of orboros and SW stuff can be good for conversions, Goblin wolves too. Love the idea

Thanks for the input guys. I was thinking about using some of the circle stuff but my local store manager isn't to fond of non GW models in shop. Though it'd work for outside shop games. I want to put wild riders On fenrisian wolves and was thinking of using a thunder wolf for a great stag. Do any of you guys know any good convertible models to use as dryads? I want to make them werewolves too.

Minotaurs or other Beastmen models with some greenstuff and other model wolf's heads perhaps?

I thought about it cause it means less fur I have to greenstuff but the only problem is the hooves and the heads.

im planning on using the fenrisian wolves as mounts for wild riders and the thunder wolves are going to be used for characters on great stags.

and ive decided to use heads from the fenrisian wolves and the bodies of crypt horrors to make tree kin and the heads from thunder wolves and the bodies from the daemon prince kit for tree men. yay werewolves!

im still trying to figure out what i want to use to make the dryads though.

and i also am struggling on getting a list put together. just rebought the book today cause apparently i got rid of my old one. 2k is a hard set up now that you have to have at least 25% core. and i really wanted to do a combat lord on a stag but hes to expensive to take and also get a level 4 into the list. i dont want to take hero level casters cause they only get access to the elf lore and i really want beasts or life.

i guess i could just go without magic cause the list is really just for a fun conversion and theme. if only orion was 75 points cheaper i would just go that route and take a bunch of wild riders as troops.
