Bringing a Giant to Life

Today I embark on a model I have not tried or even thought about painting and building. I believe models should have some kind of realistic look to them. I'm going to give this model every bit of my painting technique. I will be happy to start leaving pictures once I have something built. But right now all I have is a box with pieces in it right now that I plan on starting to build.  Please feel free to leave comments on my blog. I figure if this guy comes out good enough and my fellow Ogre players agree I will make it a youtube video.

I've just build one myself, pretty fun with all the options you get.

Painting was a bit of a disappointment with the immense amount of skin to cover. Sadly my giant has a lot of brushstrokes.

I just finally got mine built and I'm amazed how much green stuff I had to use to fill in the holes. I'm also hoping for not many brush strokes with all that skin. Well I hope I have better luck on such a better piece.
