Paymaster Maneater BSB

Hey!

I am looking to convert a BSB for my Ogre army, up until now I have used a slightly kit-bashed Irongut, but now want a new model to stand out as the BSB.

I have seen a number of conversions on this site using the Paymaster Maneater as a BSB and I want to do the same. I have the Minotaur banner to use.

The problem is my greenstuff skills arent brilliant and I am not sure how to convert his right hand to hold the banner, whilst still looking good.

I was wondering if anyone had any close up pics of that arm or who could help me?

I use myself the Paymaster as my BSB, but I didn't make any conversion, Fluff-wiser I love the model as it is and find that the fact that he is in charge of paying the Ogres after the battle a good approximation of the morale boost that a Battle standard would give. In the same ways there are some armies where I have seen the BSB converted as a a sort of great musician

Thanks! I love the model, but really want to put the banner on it too. Ill just buy the model and see how it goes!

Here's a pic of my BSB converted from that Maneater.


I actually used a Butcher's arm to hold the Standard as it worked perfectly once I;d drilled and pinned the flag-pole through the hand!

Hehe! Thanks! Yeah I didn't want to "lose" him on the battlefield once deployed!
And it's easier to try and keep people within 12" of him by line of sight without too much measuring!

After a long evening or so this is what I have done:



Very happy with him! Used the Butcher arm which I would never have thought of using (thanks Harkon)! Just noticed the gaps I need to fill on his banner arm after filing off some of the butcher gore.

Just need to paint!

What is the bottom banner from?
