Sooo finally decided to start a blog, mainly as I have seen so many great ones here. One day I will have great pictures to post!
This blog will host army list ideas, battle reports and any painting I get around to doing.
1. Every model I have brought has been secondhand.
2. I wouldn't consider myself a painter, as in I do it more out of necessity than enjoyment.
3. I do enjoy it a bit though
Anyway when I first started with Ogres in 7th I was still a 40k player and brought a cheap battalion box from a mate, they ended up looking like this.

Green just seemed the right colour for them, probably as I played Orks in 40k.
Decided that as my collection grew and I had a large mismatch of coloured ogres I should start to repaint them looking like this.

Darker colour, more shading, and based... getting better and taking more time. Alas life got in the way and with an increased workload and enjoying being a Dad the idea of getting my paints set up to paint became a chore.
Then I sold my Orks, spent some of the dosh on my daughter and some on myself and got this.

The majority of the actual beast named "Cannon face" has been painted and the top half has only been done this week, the leather, metal and basically everything that isn't blue or white needs to be inked and dry brushed. Hopefully this will be done tomorrow before I head away on Christmas holiday more likely not though.
My Thundertusk has gotten me back into painting, hopefully I will find it fun and with some time off spend a bit painting up some ogres to an acceptable level.
Thanks for the look in, any questions or any comments welcome, I hope to keep this thing going.

My horde of beastmen against your ogre horde?
Ok but I get a horde of Leadbelchers.

. I lost from the flanking and went on to lose the game by 300 points.
