Monthly Painting Challenge - November 2012

Finished the body of my bsb, and with that my pledge for this month.

Looking good! I like the yellow.

That yellow and blue gives it kick and really pops.

thats me finished up for the month, got the last couple of gobbos out the way today. ive decided against starting my bonus pledge, going to save it for when i have a steam tank to mix with the iron blaster. instead ive started basing next months challange-50 space orks, thats half a green tide in a month!!

Done a little work on my BSB sculpting only which can be found at my Gnoblog (link underneath my avatar) for those interested.  I should also be done with my last mournfang rider tonight or the night after too.

Well I actually managed to do what I wanted. My huge challenge to paint 4 leadies and assembly ironblaster is complete I even got some paint on my first maneater

Finished my last mournfang rider completing the set now with the exception of their bases saved for another.  That finishes my pledge for this month.  here a pic of my mournfangs.

Magnetize all of my models (20 gnoblards, 9 ogres, 9 ironguts, 4 mournfang, 5 leadbelchers, 1 maneater, 3 characters = 51 total models):

Fail on my behalf spent three of the four weeks out of town. Only set a small challenge because I knew I would be away. Still got a bit done will edit this post tomorrow with picks of my first ever mournfangs.

I failed in completing mine.  I managed to get the things assembled but nothing got painted.

wow great job, that's an awful lot of work done in a month.

On a side note Imanaged to complete my pledge this month and even managed to get the unit primed ready for painting....no guesses on my challenge next month

Well to be fair I started off with the basecoats already done, I just finished up the details (and stippled more scorched brown than I ever want to think about again) and sanded the bases. It's my first painted army though and I'm pretty happy with it. Got 16 of 20 points for appearance at the tourney yesterday too so that was nice.

Great work all! Finished my pledge but I don't have photos to share with you at the moment.

I'll work on getting gnoblars awarded later this week.... now on to this month's pledges!!
