"We're making steady progress on the new sculpts for our Kings of War range as those of you at our Open Day can attest, and sculptor extraordinaire Rémy Tremblay has pretty much finished the fantastic range of Ogres.
The range currently includes 4 different weapon options and 6 different heads, and Rémy is just finishing off the iconic Ogre Hero that kicked off this project all the way back in May. Want to see what he's been up to?"

sculpts look great, but I think there was agreement on the issue somewhere else that these are actually Orcs and not Ogre's...

Nice !!! Not very Ogre like but that is GW's vision . If I could paint I would get some of these for MEs possibly .

Those are nice sculpts. I'm liking the heads and quite interested as how more of the weapons turn out. The legs and bodies don't seem proportioned right at the moment. The model does have a rather world of warcraft orc look currently. Still the arms look quite nice as does the armoring.
All in all I'm looking forward to seeing more of these fellas.

very nice indeed-i will defo be having some of those, even if its just to get the pistols for my ogres, not sure on the scale as the proportions are well off

The full model is horrible - All messed up body wise and totally ugly armour.
The heads are decent but not OK but I might still get some for the cool blunderbuss.

For some reason they look like the Trollbloods from hordes. Maybe it's just me.

Yum! ...let's be clear on this. One of your kidneys? Or just one you happened to have lying around?

I like them but the full model does look like he has a bad back. His legs look..odd..could be the photo. The sculpts are really detailed for mantic which is nice
Blunderbuss looks very nice and the heads look great.
Defo Orc and totally see the Warcraftyness in there.

Annnnnd I cant even see the pictures.
The one time I don't re-host the images on the Stronghold server, they disappear on me
I'll put them back up now
Edit: and added a couple of newer ones!

Looks a lot like World of Warcraft inspired these sculpts. Looks great but not close enough to our ogre army to use. :/

THey likely don't want you to supplement your army, but replace one entirely. Every mantic product I've opened/built/painted has looked good on its own, with no GW product next to it to compromise their own unique style. If you want compatible stuff, look elsewhere. If you want entire armies at lower price, this is the stuff to check out. However, they've gotten away from the idea of modularity in their figures, as I was completely disappointed in the Corporation figures (IG replacement) and Orcs (Space Ork replacements) having little/no ability to be posed.

They won't fit in with my GW Ogres, but the detail is fine and the weapons etc look pretty cool.
I may try and pick one or two up but remains to be seen if I'll include them as part of my tribe.

Any one have any definitive info on when they are actually going to release them? They put so much emphasis on Dreadball prior to Xmas, that I've tuned them out completely
