I like many here love the flexibility that Sabretusks offer the ever hungry Tyrant with a tribe to feed but I am having issues getting three of them safely deployed without providing panic risks to my army.
As we know if they are killed at range, which is not too hard, they have a 12 inch diameter panic bubble which can be cut to just 6 inches if you deploy them far out on the flanks but where do you put the third as at the best that is a 24 inch area at risk.
I can cramp up the rest of my army but I am not sure it is worth minimising the main options of my army to deploy my third cat.
Further the issue is confused more by the variable deployment option you can get.
Battle Line is the easiest as you have the whole width of the board to use.
Dawn Attack is hard as the cats could pop up anywhere creating a maximum 36 inch bubble of potential panic.
Battle for the Pass is probably OK as you can deploy on the front line and have the rest of the army at depth.
Blood and Glory is also very difficult as there is 18 inches missing from the width of the table and the 3 inches added to the depth is not much of a help.
Meeting Engagement is probably OK as they can go on the extreme flanks but the third may have to go right at the back.
Watch Tower is pretty much like Battle line in effect.
I want to take 3 to a tournament here is few weeks but cannot see how I can fit them in without exposing my army to unnecessary panic test early on even with a BSB to get me rerolls I am not sure it is worth the risk.
Thanks for any thoughts.

) I also find this tactic really helpful for preventing enemy scouts getting behind my lines. Deploy them 12" away from the edge of the board but 7" away from your army and your laughing.
