Ok here go’s

I’m starting this Gnoblog to show my work and hopefully get tips to help me get better.

First off I’m new to fantasy and I’ve only played 1 game as of yet (I won) but I enjoyed it. I’m hoping to start playing more as at the minute I’m more of a painter as that is what got me in to the hobby really

This is my Firebelly I'm doing him in an ice theme based on Mortal Kombats sub zero

Your army looks really good so far! Much nicer painting that I could ever achieve! (Takes me an entire weekend to paint 10 Swordmasters to a half decent stardard lol) I love the Firebelly concept, that should look epic when it's complete. Are you going to be painting up the "Icebelly" breathing ice instead? That would look pretty cool. I also love that you haven't gone for a solid colour scheme for the army, with armies like empire and high elves it works but for Ogre's I quite like the mismashed colour scheme idea for their clothing. Makes them more "realistic" if such a word can be applied to warhammer models. I also never considered raiding my Daemon Prince parts for Ogre weapons. My bitz box is being raided later tonight! Great work, can't wait to see more 

I did think about making my "icebelly" breath ice but I kept it to the Sub Zero theme so I've modeled it shooting out his hand.

As for the deamon axe I just had to use it 

I forgot to ask before but I'm looking for a Big Name for my Bruser after he squished a lvl1 Orc Shaman in his first battle

Well the flesh is simple I Base in Black, Tallarn Flesh, Ogryn Flesh wash then Tallarn Flesh dry brush.

Yes I'm still on the old GW paints as I've a ton of them

A quick update

I now have Leadbelchers and some gnoblars

The gnoblars are mostly for the ogre bases

And I've started painting my Icebelly


I think I'm going to repaint the padding black

Awesome work psychobins.  I'm loving the ice belly.  I hope to get to be able to sculpt halfway decent with greernstuff one day.  Keep 'em coming please

Well I've managed to get my IceBelly finished plus some leadbelchers build as a rest from my commisson painting.

Im not sure about the black pad's with the blue symbols so any feed back will help

Right guys I'm planning on getting some Iron Guts next just want to know how meny I should have in my tribe

With Ironguts I generally tend to run anything between 7, 8 and 10 in my army. In lower point games I use either 7 with 2 chars or 8 with 1 and in bigger games I'll go for 10 with 2 chars. It makes for a nice killy durable unit but as with most things in |Warhammer it's personal preference and dependent on what else your running in the army.

Thank's I'll have to make 10 I suppose it's better to have too meny than not enough

I'm going to be building mostly Ironguts from the boxset and I'm using the priest as a butcher but I don't no how to set up my mournfang

I'd love to see what your plans are with the Priest and as for your Mournfangs I would set them up as HW + S so that you can use the GW's from their kit to make some extra cool IG's from the Battalion *Nods* 

Ye that's my plan cant wait to build n paint them but Ive 18 bulls to paint, 4 leadbeltchers and a Ironblaster to finish (after this commission job on some lizards Ive got)

I don't no what to do with the priest I just love the model I was just thinking of doing some fluff about him being in the tribes debt or something

All I need is some wolfs for sabretusks and a thundertusk and that's my tribe done (if my wife asks )

I got a good idea for my Slaughter Master and I think you'll all love it I've just got to get some bits together first.

I've also managed to some how convince my wife that a glass cabinet in the living room is a good idea
   

Just got to get round to painting my own models as my commission painting is taking over
