Chaos fanboyism aside, I'm reserving judgment on some of these until I see them in the flesh, as GW models these days tend to suffer from some unfavourable photograph angles. Loving the Heldrake though.

Not working for me but that is more because my love for chaos is more and more turning towards renegade IG than Heavy Metal looking Space Marines and their toys...

Well, I`ll reserve my judgement for a bit as Gw has recently proven to be able to ruin great models with a horrid paintjob but... That dragon and the dread, mechanical thingy after, it has to be a real dog of a paintjob, or they are just horrid looking pieces of ****.

Maulerfiend would make an awesome Jugga but also a great chaos theme Ogre Rhinox too.

Aw yeah, they're taking CSM away from "spikey marines" towards "twisted daemon engines".

As for the models themselves... I like 'em for the most part. Warpsmith is kind of just a chaos techmarine but the daemon engines are big, imposing and very chaos. I love the maulerfiend. The other fiend looks alright but might be easily improved with some conversion to the weapons. The drake looks cool, like a hellblade that's been warped into a daemon's form.

If the first time I face Cultists and they take an objective, if the chaos player doesn't say "HWEEEE KAPTURED EEET FOR KAOOOOSSS!!!" I'm going to be seriously disappointed.

I had some Zoids when I was a child.  Those were days! 

Zoids were awesome, I never got as many as I would have liked but per-historic robotic animals ftw!

I am definately too old...

I am really looking forward to getting this new 'dex. 40k was the first GW game I ever had, and CSM were my first army. I'm worried though, some of these units (most specifically heldrake, dark apostle and warpsmith look like they're next to join a group of units from 40k and fantasy that have badass models and/or potential for being really powerful in the game but end up being bad. (i.e. the hunter, giants)
