I Have been looking over the Warhammer fantasy books and I liked both the Vampire Counts and Ogre models and what they do. I decided on Ogres because I don't have to buy (and paint) 120+ zombies, and I think smashing some faces in sounds rather awesome.
But I do Have a few clarification questions.
I Think Golgfag Maneater sounds really awesome, except that He makes the maneater unit sound less cool. Does he really force a Maneater unit to take just the Vigilant and Stubborn rules? Or does he give those two in addition to the other two options from been there done that? If He forces Vigilant and Stubborn is he even worth using?
I've only played 40k before so the magic phase seems a bit strange to me, do you guys suggest running heavy in magic?
And I hear that ogres parts are fairly universal so you can mix and match parts to get new units out of other ones and that sounds pretty awesome. I found another post about stuff to buy and I think I will stick closely to that.
