My first Ogres!

original thread ↗

I just finished my first Ogres ever! I thought it would be a nice army to  collect and paint after playing Lizardmen exclusively for 10 years.

I'm sharing because I'm quite proud of them considering I've never painted flesh before and wanted to know what you guys think I could improve on for when I start working on my bull unit. Also please ignore my standard, I started to do something with it but didn't like what was going on so I'm currently working some practice pieces to improve my free hand before I get back to it

They look good... but they aren't finished.  ;)

Ya need to take care of the bases and they will look great.
My 8th Edition Ogres Record: 0 Wins, 4,547 Losses, 7 Draws.

Looks good so far! Only tip I would add is when flesh or light colors are concerned mold lines are going to stick out like a sore thumb. It's well worth trimming them down before painting.

Keep it up!

Yea I want to try to do some snowy bases, so I had to order some snow.  :P

I noticed that as well, mold lines that didn't show up on my unprimered model were showing up once I primered them, and then those that I clear seemed to grow back when I painted them  :(. I'll definitely be going back on my bulls and giving them a thorough look over. Thanks.
i really like how the red pants came out, great solid red, as for improvements well id say more skin tattoos this new edition of the ogres has really shown how cool skin tattoos can be on the ogres and dirty up that armor and weapons they look too clean, rust blood paint whatever u fancy just make em look worn and war ready, look forward to more
