Hey all, this is the first time i'm posting on here (put a few pics up at the warhammer forum to no response) but i have most of my army painted now and a tournemant with painting scores a week on saturday so am hoping for some feedback, either way, to help me inspire myself to finish my army.  Without further ado...

my ironguts that form the core and character bunker (original i know)

bulls that i got cheap at a convention to pad out my core

leadbelchers, not featuring in the tourney but part of my original battalion

ythettes, some of my favorite models and coming to the tournemant even though everyone knows there not great, just waiting for that golden moment when someone is reduced to WS0

the obligatory sabertusks, old chaos dog models

my six mournfangs, using a unit of five in this tournemant, if anyone has any advice it would be welcome, i'm too annoyed when my unit of four runs away after loosing one

my giant, mainly for the model but also again for those times it eates a dwarf lord or beats a unit of blood knights in combat (both have happened, the latter without yella nd ball)

thundertusk, helps my giant actually get to attack

my BSB and slaughter master, in this list i'm actually running a firebelly and tyrant but no pics (might have to use the IG champ for my tyrant this time round)

as you can see there is some substantial painting left to do, by my standards at least seen as i started the army when they first got revamped, so heres hoping for some comments to buoy the spirits,

Luke
That's a good looking army. Really like the yhettees.
The Mournfang are going to look really good when you finish them.
I also like the aura of frost around the thundertusk.
My Armies:
Empire
Ogres
All the bases look really really good, im very new to the hobby, you mind telling me how you did those, or tell me where i can find a tutorial for doing those kinds of effects?  They look very realistic, thats kinda what i had in mind for mine but havent thought about how im gonna make em.  The yhetees do look great, and the thundertusk is pretty awsome too.
cheers guys, the yhettes were one of the first things painted and are just astronomican grey (old colour) with a blue wash astronomican drybrush and then skull white drybrush which went on to form the basis of all furry/hairy models in my army which is fairly easy to do but i think looks alright.
@ Kuzimo the bases are just grey with a black wash and then a static grass flock on a few areas then topped off with GW snow flock.  Again they are quite simple but i reckon look good enough for the effort put in.
hopefully will get the mournfangs and thundertusk riders finished by monday leaving only characters and sabers to finish next week, will post photos when i am (hopefully) finished :)
hey all, got my BSB and firebelly almost finished today

still got all my mournfangs and ironblaster to go though, going to be a busy week :)

hey, finished my army today, just uin time as i'm leaving at 5 for the tornemant tomorrow, anyway, here is the full army (minus some yhettes i forgot to put on)

the ironblaster

my mournfangs

and my 'tyrant', having to use my bruiser model as no time to paint my proper tyrant, so ive given his armour a go over with gold to make him stand out a bit more

anyway hope you like the look of this and if anyone is at summer incursion tomorrow i'll se you there! cheers for reading,

Luke
