The Pilgrims of - Kon-Ton "Maweye"

Hey there fellow Ogreman and wellcome to my very first Gnoblog! 

Up untill now I've been all about the hobby part of Warhammer (Painting, converting, etc.) but allways rather slow with the finishing of my units.
Both is about to change with this Gnoblog!
I started Ogres because I love the look and diversaty of them and I'm so happy I found this Forum.
Starting my Ogre Army I will try to paint them in a well speed and quality and finaly after about 10 years guide an army into battle.
(P.s.: Im german so you'll have to forgive me if the texting isnt spell-check-perfect . . .)

Concep

So as I started with Ogres I thought of how they may look. I came to the conclusion I wanted something with a snow theme but like realy deep snow. I was supposed to look like they are walking through a field of snow and ice. lso I wanted my Ogres to be Pilgrims from the Vulcano "Fire Mouth" guided by there Tyrant Kon-Ton "Maweye" (Story will fallow). So my Ogres are more in livelike tones (Red, brown, green, livelike skin) apposed to the dread around them. It is supposed to look like the Ogres are underminding the harsh nature around them.

Work so far

So up until now I worked on the concept and the story plus a display for my display cabinnet.
Also I created something I like to call a "perfekt prototype" wich I always do before starting an army.
So you get one normal miniature looking just like you want the rest of army to look until you think its perfect.

In my case it was the Bellower of my Ogre Bulls. And he is serving as an appetiser for you guys/gals.
