I read somewhere in here that Gorgers don't get the Impact hits from an Ogre charge. Surely this isn't correct? The Army book states that every MI in an Ogre Kingdoms army get Impact hits, and moreover, if they roll 10+ on the charge dice they get D3 Impact hits. This must apply to Gorgers as well eh? They also get Stomp that I can see too. Added to that the 5 Attacks from Frenzy this makes them real Killing Machines doesn't it? Potentially 9 attacks per charge turn? and minimum 7 on a charge.

I don't know about Gorgers (don't have the book in front of me), but I do know that Yhetees do not get impact hits (which stinks because they have swiftstride). Check the special rules under the gorgers section and see if the Ogre Charge rule is one of their special rules (like it is with most of the MI in our army).

p. 32 "Each monstrous infantry model on foot with the Ogre Charge special rule that succesfully charges an enemy has the Impact Hits (1) special rule."
Since Gorgers dont have the ogre charge special rule they dont do impact hits.

I think I shall still try them out this week. I'm facing a doubles army of Empire and Dwarves, so probably lots of Warmachines, so my Gorgers and Sabretusks may have some work to do.

Though one would think that they would have enormous bellies capable of living up to their appellation.
Plus impact hits with killing blow would be awesome.
