need advice on my firebelly base

original thread ↗

at first I was liking it, my original plan was to have all the lead beltchers crossing the same lava pit while everything else was on a snowy mountain. then I messed around and tried the new stirland mud texture on a plain ogre base with some rocks and then varnished the mud to make it look wet and now thinking maybe more of a muddy swamp theme, what do you guys think?  it's hard to tell but I did in fact varnish the lava to make it shiny hah And if the muddy theme is decided upon any recommendations to make the firebelly's base look really good.. and lastly I was thinking of adding some sort of green scum on the top or some such but cant figure out what would be best, green texture paint, or maybe flock that I add varnish or realistic water to.

You could say something like "they were drafted from different locations"
just a note on the firebelly's base, if that lava bubbles popped under there, there gonna need for some lucky 4+ wards ;)
I like the mud! As for adding greens to the mud-
I think some creeper plants would maybe look quite good there, something like trampled water cress.
You could use cheap plastic plant pieces that you paint up a bit in the colour you like for that.
